Diana has been with South Coast Mission for over ten years, first as the Program Director and then in 2016 she took over as Executive Director. She is a certified counselor and a trained administrator.
“I am passionate about helping people take back control of their lives so they can have happier, more satisfying lives without anything them holding them back,” says Diana, “I love seeing our counseling programs rid people of the negative attitudes and experiences.”
People can do a variety of programs at the South Coast Mission. These include personal counseling, couples counseling and classes and courses on self-development and self-help. People can also work with our life coach to help them navigate through difficult times. South Coast Mission also offers a variety of programs for business people and entrepreneurs.
“I chose to work at South Coast Mission,” says Diana, “because I could see that its programs provided actual and effective relief and solutions for so many issues in life. Anywhere from someone experiencing tremendous loss or anxiety to an entrepreneur being able to achieve his goals.”
“The most important thing for me is that people can feel comfortable and relaxed in our center,” says Diana. “You’ll find our staff are friendly and caring and that they have your personal happiness as their primary goal.”
Hali is our Program Director, in charge of guiding people to the right programs to help them in their lives, and helping them through their programs. She is dedicated to working with you directly to ensure you get the most out of every program we offer.
“I started at South Coast Mission when I was going through a very difficult time in my life. When I came in, I was immediately cared for as if I were family. I started a personalized counseling program, and after just a few short weeks, my entire life and mindset had turned around and for the first time in my life since I was a little girl, I was truly happy and excited about life and my future,” says Hali. “Once I finished my counseling program, I knew that I wanted to work at South Coast Mission and help people find the help and answers they needed to have a happy life. It has been the greatest passion of my life to see people come experiencing difficulties, and then in such a short amount of time, see them blossom and become happy and do well in life.”
Keith and Deborah Gilleard
South Coast Mission Owners
As South Coast Mission owners, Keith and Deborah Gilleard help the center provide high-quality counseling, programs and classes to its clients. They have an extensive background in nonprofits, business and marketing.
“We were asked to step on as owners in 2019, and we were delighted to become part of the South Coast Mission team. Our family have used their services, and we always enjoyed the classes they offer. They also helped our children through some difficult spots. We love the people who work at the center, they have always been friendly, upbeat and nonjudgmental. They make it easy for people to get counseling and do their programs. Most of all, we like seeing the results the center gets. The technology South Coast Mission uses is very workable and people can change things in their lives quickly and permanently. We are very happy for the opportunity to give back to the center and to the community.”
